Stealth Help PLZ - Phoenix Freeshard

Im hoping somebody can answer this. I play a scout and was wondering if my stealth is at say 45 + 15 = 60
and a SB has stealth say 35 + 16 = 51 will I be able to see the SB before he sees me or is anything after a composite of 51
stealth just a waist of points?
I really appreciate any input!

On Phoenix, only 50 composite matters (i.e. 35+15 ). Everyone sees themselves at the same range, regardless of class if they have 50 composite stealth (assassins used to see archers and minstrels at 250 units and everyone else saw assassins at 125 units, that got equalized). Stealthers standing still will see you from farther than you see them, if you are in motion, due to detection bubble being behind you (a detail that even rr11's are confused about).

Just remember , stealth is very basic here. If you stand still, visible chars will spot you from a small distance. Avoid them, especially when they dont run at speed 6 and sprint. Then, they are too fast to detect you. Other than that, even a lvl 1 char will notice you, if he walks by.
