Mentalist farming

Anyone know of a spot in classic or SI that has tightly packed mobs that are yellow/ok/red to a 50? I've tried the leps, but I'm always being ganked.

I want to AOE dot farm and kite.

Have you had any luck AOE dot farming red mobs? I always got way too many resists to make that viable. Perhaps your farming technique is better than mine. Do you dot and run and wait for the mobs to give up before you reapply dot or do you reapply while the mobs are still chasing? I typically wait until the mobs give up, but with red mobs, so many resist the spells and give up early, that I’m left with like 1 mob at the end.

Oj is really the most optimal I guess. I am 1L8 so I have Lw2, tireless 1 and an endo pot (overkill I know) and pot buffs. I just dot and run and since I'm sprinting I gain enough range I can turn and dot again as the last tick hits to reapply.
