block chance vs dw

i have 50 + 16 shield and mob 7 (+ 18% block) and 298 dex

66*0.5 = 33%
+5% base
+ 18% mob 7
+0.04*298dex = 11,92% (i have tested is 0,04 here)

total = 67.92%

67,92*0.75 dw penality = 50.94
or if the penality is calculate after block cap 60%*0.75= 45%

how is possible that i have only 38,66% vs a ns?

scout is totaly broken

scout is totaly broken

You're not taking into account every class has defense penetration based on the WS table they are on.

Hit/miss matters only about outright miss which is based on bonus of items and melee style bonus (- defense, + to hit for example)

Defense penetration is the ability to by-pass your defenses, Tanks and Light Tanks get roughly 17% while hybrids/healers (lower WS tables) get around 11% (it does change but if they have 51 base weapon this is fairly standard rates from live). This is the "bonus" of that class against your defense (block, parry, evade).

When you add that 11% reduction I talk about, that puts it right @ 39% block rate which is what you should have against a healer/hybrid that has DW bonus. Against a 1handed user on that same table you get near cap defense, of 56% block rate.

if thats correct, why do assassins with evade 7 (about 46%) still have roughly about 28% evade vs for example a hunter with 50+18 spear+pet?
according to you it should be around 20% then.

imo there is something broken with block chance here, i remember scouts being very very strong with their shield. my rr10 hunter had some trouble getting through their defense 10 years ago on live.

Without knowing the exact stats of the sin it is hard to determine exact evade rate

( ([Dexterity] + [Quickness]) / 2 - 50) * 0.05 + [Evade Level] * 5

Your ability to get through his evade rate if @ 51 spec is ~11%, however since you went well and above that you are rewarded wtih an additional .15-.30% per point over this based on what Wyrd and Dariam came out with years ago. You will do more style dmg, but even that gain is very minimal reward for going above 51 spec vs another hunter that was 51 spec same stats/same style. A Warrior that is 51spec will have a better chance than you do because the largest determining factor is the dmg table of the class; after that returns are minimal.

The nice thing about the client here is you can see the rates, if you doubt the information you can see it on your client. DW was too powerful which is why all bonus's gained where later removed.

what a bullshit !! all sneaky classes are broken !!!! Solo classes should no longer run solo because they don't get broken, ????
but everyone else can run solo?

caster run solo ..... moc lifeleech pd = winner, all tank classes run solo .... ra, s schield (block block parried dodges) = winner, necros solo = winner, sm solo, pet blocks blocks blocks = winner, bd = without words, sneaks pa 340 dmg, (if he is not being blocked or evaded) huh ,,, is it still possible ?? (tanks = hitpoints 2000+) archer crit shot = 350 dmg ??? the same (bubble-parried-blocked-dodged) !!! ???. another example, just yesterday happened ranger vs troll scalden, ranger 340 dex, troll maybe 160 dex? in the fight with troll NOT once evaded and this is not the first time! but the troll parried parry block block ....... so löl

So please do not tell anything about any great formulas that you have read where! if and but, the reality looks different here on the server !!!!! here is soooo much broken AND nothing is rewarded here !!!

Nah, not broken. Forumla only checks if you are logged in with your sneak, if so your winrate is set to 0.
PS. Can I get a screenshot where a skald blocks so much with his base rate plz?
