Buff potions and baseline buffs overwriting

Hi, is it intentional that buff potions are supposed to be overwritten (and not toggled/disabled) from real buffs?

Does it make sense to change so that it is possible to use the buff potion in combination with for example baselines from healer and keep the buff potion baseline if the healer dies? Perhaps similar to how regen potion and PoM toggles each other.

imo that would be a huge change since it is part of the tactic that you want to kill healers for the grp to lose heals and buffs

Well, you do have the option to only run buff potion in groups right now and skip buffing up with regular buffs.

But then you don't have better buffs. If you want to run conc buffs then live with the concequence that you loose them if your buffer dies.
If you want to be independend of conc then deal with non cap buffs

You can't have your cake and eat it

Well... Everyone has the buff potion as a baseline. I think making casted buffs not override could balance up small mans vs FG a bit. Many small man grps probably chose to not buff baselines now even though a class with baselines is available in group. I think this is a real problem. Right now everything is balanced around either solo play or FG.
