I'm about to hit rr5 on my NS and respec soon. Was wondering what's the better options here.

Comp stealth, weapon, and envenom

50 CS rest in CD (think its 13 or 14 CD?)
44 CS 27 CD
Or 39 CS 33 CD?

Cant make up my mind if the extra style damage is worth losing the offhand swing chance.

Celtic Dual has the best utility styles of the three dual wielding lines but also has the worst growth rates of the three.

Mathematically I think 44CS Rest CD works best and is what i've preferred.

Gives a good rate of dual wield hits as the reward for going to 50CS doesnt out damage the gains from additional offhand swings

Something like 2-3 damage a hit. (If anyone has tests to confirm pleases share)

13+15CD = 49% offhand chance

27+15 = 61% offhand chance

Say a fight lasts 10-15 swings thats an extra 1-2 dual wield hits at 50 (ish) damage each

50-100 damage

Additional damage per swing from 50CS ---- 3*15 = 45

Knowing that offhand can also crit and style damage only affects mainhand, I prefer this spec. And thats without factoring the swingrate benefits from offhand haste.

Don't forget that you also gain weapon skill for your CS styles when going 50 over 44 and you there for gain defence penetration that you otherwise would not have.
If someone is willing to test how much the diference will be tell me

It gets complicated because the formula for Defense penetration also takes into account the individual's defenses

I decided to try 50 CS. So I'm now specced 35 stealth, 35 env, 37 pierce, 50 CS, 13 CD

I was 39 across all lines and 20 CD prior.

I saw a damage increase on my PA for around 60 or so damage.

Ironically, I saw my PA damage DROP going from 39 to 44CS by about 10 damage when testing it out (on the dummy) which was really wierd. The only difference being that I dropped my weapon spec 2 points to give comp weapon. Considering that I only dropped weapon 2 points and bumped CS by 5 points, I shouldnt have seen a decrease in damage at all. I'm still confused by that.
