Nearsighted necromancer pet can waste power on casts that should not be firing

The Absorbtion buff from Deathsight is consuming power before checking effective range when the necromancer's pet is inflicted with nearsight. In addition there is no "The target is too far away" message and the cast doesn't start

This happens whenever the pet is inside the normal 1500 range but outside of the reduced range resulting from nearsight
