Mercenary races....

I have a half ogre merc.
But I have an issue with what seems like poor evade and parry(shield block on occasion) to utilize the reactive chains.

Anyone else agree and opt for other races?

I have HO merc too.. i just can't get myself to play it, HO just make classes feel even more boring, though they have best stats for any 8man/small man melee

Well Mercs only get Evade 1, so you won't evade a ton but if you're interested in evading as much as possible, with more blocking chances you want high Dex.

A lot of people swear by Saracen Pierce Mercs.

You'll probably want some Quick too since Alb doesn't have access to Celerity.
