A new PvP Event - but where? - Phoenix Freeshard

It is time to have another PvP event! Sharpen your pitchforks and get ready to fight both your friends and enemies at the same time.

This Friday, the 20th of March at 1pm CET we will open the PvP Zone. It will be open during the whole weekend and will be closed on Monday morning, EU time. We will probably do a short test on thursday EU PT to check if everything is working as intended. There will be an announcement ingame and via Discord as soon as this test will start.

In that zone you will have the possibility to group up with players from EVERY realm and to kill players from your own realm. We will start with a groupcap of 5 players per group and may or may not change that during the weekend. You will get ported into a safezone where you can use a porter to be brought to a random location on the map. From there on it is you (or your group) against the rest of the world.

ALL Phoenix rules apply to this zone and this event too. The chat there may only be used to find a group or to give infos about enemies. Any flames, insults, etc will be punished and players that arent able to follow the rules will be excluded from the event at least. Please keep in mind that the 4h realm switch timer is active and that it is not allowed to circumvent it. Also the new No-Account-Sharing-Rule is valid for this event.

As Im writing this down, we are still testing things, but if all works out as planned, we will this time offer you a new map, which we didnt use yet. We will publish the map sometime on thursday. If we cant use the map we have in mind right now, the event will take place in Lamfhota's Sound.

As the test is done and everything was working good so far, we are now able to "officially" announce the zone for the event; Killaloe. We are going to open the zone on Friday at 1pm CET (in about 3.5 hours from now) and as written before, the event will end on monday morning, EU time. At the start there will be a groupcap of 5, which we may increase during the weekend.

When porting to the <event> zone, you will spawn in the Albion Porter Keep, no matter what realm you are. In there you will find a lot of useful NPCs plus the multiple <Event Teleporter>. If you want to join the battle, just click <fight> and you will get ported to a random location on the map. Close to every random location is a spot with neutral mobs which con from yellow to red.

All keeps on the maps dont have any guards and cant be raided or claimed. They are just empty structures. The keeps still have their oil up, which does the usual damage. Keep that in mind if you fight close to the outer or the inner gate. Also some siege weapons are still working. Both, oil and siege weapons, cant be disabled. So if you dont want to get harmed by them, dont fight close to one of the keeps.

To clarify some rules:

It is strictly forbidden to heal or fight from the safezone into the fightzone. Please only use the event teleporter to port into the fightzone.

It is allowed to add or not to add in the zone like in the regular frontiers. But: This is a PvP event. Every player outside your group is your enemy. If you dont want to kill an enemy player for whatever reason it is totally fine. But it is not allowed to stick and run multiple groups as one group, nor is it allowed to give immunity timers to them.

As the bug is still happening where players get ported to the htk or mtk instead of the atk (aka the safe zone) in the event zone, from now on any fights in the htk or mtk are strictly forbidden. If you get ported to one of these keeps, just click the hastener and leave the keep via the gate. thank you for understanding.
