Quick Shield block question

I've searched the forum but I keep finding block rate stuff on duel wield but I would like to know if 42+11=53 Shield will block as good as 50+11=61 Shield?

Does anything over 50 shield increase block rate that much or is it really based off dex?

Should I go 50 shield and drop parry down?

More Shield = more Block.

But if ur only interested for yor own def, those point in parry prolly are worth more, if grp specc, go max block

Mainly for pve purp mobs. Tanking.

I thought there was a cap on block rate that you can actually waste points if you go 50 shield and some unknown amount of levels of MOB.
But, Bobba, I believe your spec is the best spec anyway.

Solo or Guarding in grp as well?
