It's affected by Det. Tested Ichor 1 on a Det9 Warden. He was rooted for 1 second, snared for 2 seconds. Absolutely useless. Specced out of it.

Ichor resets root immunity so even if it's useless by itself on a det9 tank it would still be of some benefit to reset root immunity

Ichor should be mostly be used to reset root/snare timers. It does it's job!

Agree'd 100%. Ichor is an extremely beneficial realm ability specifically for that reason. It is well worth investing 5 points into.

It has 500 radius. It resets root timer, but breaks mezzes at the same time. Absolutely useless on an Eldritch, since they don't have baseline/spec root. The root would need to be coordinated with a druid and casted only when nobody is mezzed (because of 1000 range area where a mezz break can happen). I had it on a Shaman 20 years ago. It was instant instead of 2 sec cast time, and had some uses.

Ichor is amazing even if you have to *gasp* coordinate with others to get the full benefit of the immunity reset.
