Can't upload pics to forum

I've tried the attachments section as well as drag n drop. I've tried to convert file to a BMP, JPG, and a PNG file type. No luck

I've seen others posting images so I know it's a thing. Do I have to upload pics to an image server like photobucket for this? And if so, why have the attachment section if you can't attach stuff?

Yes, I think you need to upload the images to something like imgur and then link it from your post.
