Linux Users and New Launcher Issue Troubleshooting

Hey guys I'm not having much luck with the new launcher. Purpose of this thread is to help linux users troubleshoot.

As of now I can get the launcher to run but I error out after trying to login.

I suggest lookin up gruenes_schaf's post in #support of your Phoenix Discord from yesterday; he did help troubleshooting there for alternative OS'.
For example he's using ubuntu 1804 with wine 4.0.1

Yes I was working with him yesterday. I installed Ubuntu 18.04 and got the same result. I understand that shortly Linux and VM users will no longer have access to the game. I understand why this decision was made but it punishes users like myself that are not abusing the system. Could I get my account whitelisted while I continued to troubleshoot my launcher issue?
