[Shaman] Is Aug Acuity worth it for larger conc pool?

There are so many RA's I'd rather dump points into, but this is the first time I've ever mained a Sham or even played Mid. What's the general consensus about getting AugAcu 3 or 5 or whatever for the larger conc pool? I have a feeling no one actually does this, but I just wanted to get input from other experienced 8man Shams out there.

I'd say no, but maybe you can experiment and find some sort of breakpoint where you can cast one more buff for a reasonable RA investment.

Shamans have tons of more important RAs to use their points on, especially on low RR when points are scarce.

increasing acuity does not increase the dot dmg?

It should. As your dots basically work the same way they do for every other caster. And their dots gain dmg from acuty (mom, wp, etc.).
As a shaman I'd be going for faster cast speed way before going for dmg tho.
