How to make money on Alb?

Hey there,

since i'm a new player and got a necro 50 as farming tool I would like to make some platinum to buy templates for my characters and buy stuff.

So the question is pretty easy, which are the best ways to farm gold? killing mobs and selling items to the portable merchant maybe?

yea im skilling to salvage everything, but I wonder which are the best items to trinket and then sell to npc?

Challenge hulk group in DF is great in combination with salvage
