Hey guys as topic im newbie 50 and just close to hit lvl.50.

Is there a way to get a template from crafter players?
Do i really need pve? i wanna go in rvr and to the 50 it was a long way..

How much it cost a new temp for a neebie Skald??

Thank you

When you build your suit you can add the following, but if you exceed the points over cap aree wasted

stats +75
Resists +25
Power +25
Skills +11
hIt Points +200

so you want
+75 to str, con, dex, charisma, (maybe qik, some say no some say yes, I say cap qik)
+25 to heat, cold, energy, body, matter, spirit, slash, crush, thrust
+25 power
+11 weapon
+11 parry
+200 Hits

I think I got them all for a skald

Just a small correction: resists cap at +26%, not +25%.

As for entering RvR right away, you'll probably be fine if you're not fully temped, as long as your stats are decent. Skalds are always needed I'm sure.

I've not done it, but I hear temping a skald can be expensive, so some PvE will eventually be needed I guess to really max everything out.

power cap is 26 as well - lvl/2+1

when having a skald as your first 50, you will probably want to start out with a "ghetto"-template since skalds arent particularly easy to temp.
my advice for your first temp:

get TG torso.
dont build a weaponless template.
ignore +bs, +cha and +power and you will be fine for your first temp. absolutely DO max everything else tho. (including quick.)

feel free to ask more specific questions either here or via pm.

Buy 70+ util rogs, but remember that some times a 70 util rog that over laps on an already capped stat in really not a 70 util rog.
Definately do that 80 util bearded resist quest that starts in Aeg. its like +10 to four resists.
Buy player crafted armor. If you make a 99% suit you won't cap everything, but I like the idea of a 99% suit fist off.
You can only imbue 4 stats on each piece and I think over charge on 99% is 32 imbue points.
Some use a program to see how much each stats costs but I just use this web site..
