Your highest rp char determines as what class / realm your vote counts. To take a completely hypothetical example, if you had an RR10 necro, deleted it and created an hib char and then vote, your vote would count as an alb necro.

We are going to switch to NF tomorrow (in about 12 hours from now).

Thank you very much for all the different opinions and thoughts regarding NF/OF. The decision to switch to NF permanently was not that easy as the results of the voting may look like, but we had to weigh up the two options and none of them is a perfect solution in the understanding of making everyone happy. Taking the voting into account plus the pro and cons of NF/OF we finally came to the decision to swith to NF.

Because of your numerous feedback we got some useful ideas and inspirations to make NF as interesting and playable for everyone, even for those who prefer OF. Putting NF in place is not the end but the beginning of some upcoming changes.

The first change is that there will be a small incentive for solo and smallmen to go to the ruins. We will hand out more infos about this very soon and before the switch to NF. Stay tuned as more is going to happen.

There is now a new command, /frontier, which shows the location of the new solo and small group bonus as well as the teleport chain and which keeps have to be taken for the relic gates to open.


New Solo / Small Group Bonus
There is now a rotating 10% kill rp bonus for solos and a separate 10% kill rp bonus for small groups. The location of these bonuses will rotate every hour between the ruins, the two bonuses will never be in the same ruin. The small group bonus applies to solo player as well.

Please note that the ruins are not separate safe zones for the listed group size, instead it's meant as an incentive for those group sizes to go there, nothing more. The solo bonus is only given if nobody who attacked the target was in a group, the small group bonus is only applied if nobody who attacked the target was in a group of 4 or more.

The rotation is fixed:
Solo rotation: Albion, Midgard, Hibernia
Small group rotation: Hibernia, Albion, Midgard


Relics / Relic Gates
Once 4 keeps have been taken of a realm the relic gate closest to the relic keep will open, see the new /frontier command to see which keeps are required for which relic. The relic gate close to the relic town will never open. Relic guards will be missing until the first relic raid has happened to ensure this part is getting tested, the guards will be added a day or two after the first successful relic raid.

Enemy relics still have to be stored in your own normal keeps.
