STATUS UPDATE:
Please see this thread for a status update: https://forum.playphoenix.online/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=8113

With the launcher unable to provide the correct game files we are forced to change to the most recent client and client files.
The client change itself is comparativly small and has the added benefit that cooldowns are visible on the quick bars and remaining durations on the buffs and Jordheim should no longer cause crashes. However, given the small amount of time to implement the client changes and test them, it's possible that some packets will contain crash / ld bugs.
The client files however present a problem with the main changes in zones around the starter town (cotswold, mularn, mag mell), the border keeps and the dragon zones.
The border keeps present a problem as they actually block access to the frontier. Another problem will be the missing map dot by default in the frontier.

On saturday we will put the server into maintenance mode at 9am cest, the expected duration is 2 to 3 hours. In that time window we will move the npcs accordingly and
place a teleporter from the border keep to the frontier where a new zone wall blocks the entrance.

We will try to find a solution to the map dot but can't make any promises at this time.
Please bear with us, it's quite likely that some jump points that should not be active will still be active, for example some jump points to catacombs or nf or labyrinth, we hope to resolve those within a day or two if there are any. Other issues, like mobs in walls / under ground may also arise.

After the maintenance update the most recent client and client files will be required.
It would be a good idea to make new daoc installation and completely update it to live.

The merchant window / housing market explorer issue will be fixed after the update on Saturday.

Due to time constraints we were unable to look into the missing position indicator in the frontier maps.

Another big issue will be crafting, we can't provide the crafting file for the same reason we can't provide any other game file and since 1.125 even changed the format copying that one over from the current installation also wouldn't work. As an immediate work around there will be a /craft command available on Saturday that will take the recipe id, a recipe list will be published, the command will do the same as clicking the recipe on your quick bar would do. The long term solution will be an external program that the launcher will include, a first version of this should appear over the weekend or on Monday at the latest.

Also to keep your settings and everything copy over the paths.dat from your current installation.

The new client also has an upgraded version of the "hit esc to exit" issue that sometimes appears at 95% on the initial loading screen that also includes the version, the upgrade being that the client just crashes then. Retrying will eventually make it work, it usually happens about 1 in 5 times. After resolving the map indicator and crafting issue that's what we'll try to somehow fix.

Mainly because of the crafting issue we will still support client 1.124 until our external crafting program is ready, however, we will require the new zone files. The crafting file is data/ifd.mpk, copying that as well as the game.dll and mft.myp from the current phoenix installation over to the new installation (making a backup of the new game.dll and mft.myp) should allow you to keep crafting.

The crash on the initial loading screen appears to be fixed, looking into the map issue and then into resolving the crafting issue

To enter your own realms frontier zones, you will have to use the "Frontier Teleporter"; you will no longer be able to "just walk out".

A fix for the map position indicator has been found but we're still working on a way to apply it without distributing game files.

With the map indicator fixed as well as housing interior showing up again, the only major remaining issue is crafting. Working on that currently and will hopefully have a fix later today.

Launcher now has a button to fix crafting, with that the really major issues caused by the upgrade should be resolved.
