Returning to DAOC and needing some help...

Played DOAC from release for 6 years and hadn't touched it till I heard about Phoenix. Really interested in getting back into the game but I need some help on deciding which realm to play. I've played and had 50s in all the realms and really enjoy them all. Is there one that needs more pop than the others?

Also classes. Any suggestions on what's lacking in that particular realm you suggest?

Lastly, guilds. Always handy to be in a strong guild/alliance. If any of you stroll by and are looking for a well knowledged noob on this server (for now) holler at me!

I think the consensus will be it depends on when you will be playing

Unlike in 2002 on live, here you don't have to choose a realm and stick to it.
You can switch from one to another realm as often as you want, while keeping your possessions and progressions on each realms. There is just a timer which prevents realm change, which is currently of 12 hours, and which duration is currently reevaluated in a community poll (new timer value will be from 4 to 24 h).

That said,

Yes, Hibernia has a lower population, on average you will find : per 100 albs, 90-95 mids, 70-75 hibs.

That really depends, it changes everyday, sometimes there aren't enough bards for rvr, other times, they are plentyfull. /serverinfo would typically return 20 to 40 bards on a pop of ~200. VW are often the least played class. You will have 100 character slots on Phoenix, so you can check for yourself according your preferences.

Mythical Gladiators is a small (for now) guild that just started a couple weeks ago with many players new to server who are currently still leveling their main character.
