Cure NS for Shaman/Warden/Bard

Please consider this change once again - you already gave it to the friar only, for whatever reason that may be i think its a good idea but other off-healers should have it too if they choose to prioritize it.

Please consider implementing it for 40 Mending/Regrowth spec for the Shaman/Bard/Warden - could possibly change the standard specs for these classes a bit and make them more viable.

Furthermore,
Could also go as far as trying out with testing group cure disease at 44 Rej/Reg/Mend to make it more interesting with the specs.

Good question why friar has ns cure, and shaman/warden have not.

For me, shaman was quite boring to play: only buffs, bad heals. Warden doesnt seem to be very popular either. It might make them more interesting.

so you want a free warden buff right? who else would spec 40 mend on his shaman/bard. warden is already wanted in grps in opposite to friar no need to buff them

edit:

Jfyi, you can get 6sec-cast-time cure NS at 20 mend.
I know. 6sec is damn long, but sometimes being able to cure that 2min dur NS does help anyway.

Doesn't mean I'm in favor of the OP's suggestion thou.

Wrong.... Cure NS is limited to: Healer, Cleric, Druid ... oh and Friar.

Shamans could, not saying I would but if they were granted the same as the friar i am sure some would consider going for the one at 20.
A lot of bards are doing the 33 Reg spec since the change in how determination is calculated - would see a lot of those too with the level 20 cure - this was the main reason why i suggested it to be 40 only as I would find it imbalanced for the bard to have the possibility to cure itself without really having to sacrifice anything to get it (could also just keep the bard out of the discussion as it has plenty of useful buttons as it is).

All I am suggesting to make it equal in some way at least to the off-healers. I agree with you that the friar was not really worth it in groups but the Warden has the same issue - its a TWF bot and nothing else. That doesn't really make it more viable to the groups than the friar was as you only bring a warden if you are to go with the zergs.

When i looked at Phoenix Herald to get an idea of what can be a good compo for Hib, i wasn't very surprised to find bard+warden+2 druids for the naturalists running in the highest rank group Hib has had on the server.

Galantor Druid 50 12L1
Krypt Mentalist 50 12L0
Dalira Enchantress 50 12L0
Goldhawk Bard 50 12L0
Hellplay Warden 50 11L4
Hooly Druid 50 11L4
Krowd Eldritch 50 11L2
Absolem Animist 50 11L0

Wardens, shamans and friars give magic resists. Wardens have TWF. Wardens have PBT. Wardens have blades and are great peelers.

What i like about DAOC is that each class brings his lot to the group, and you need to rely to your team mates at some point.
Shaman/warden/bards of course could make good use of NS as an additional toy to they own aptitudes but there's also nothing wrong not having it.
I don't know Alb at all so won't speculate of groups running with 2 clerics and friar, but on Mid and Hib, the norm is to run with 2 healers and 2 druids, i.e. 2 cure NS.

Well I was writing to Azrael to explain cure NS isn't only about reaching 40 mend.

Friars have static, reflex attack, and deal alot of damage. Why they need NS cure? Its kinda asymmetric to give friars NS cure, and wardens/shamans not.

usually only 1 druid has the fast NS cure. The slow NS cure does probably dont help very much in 8v8.
I think in Mid its the same, only 1 healer has fast NS cure.

But maybe the wardens should speak...i have no warden.

Oh come on.... its no argument for anything that there is a high rr warden on the server....
Wardens are great peelers, sure with low WS and a side share they are awesome... they land the snare on the savage first swing every time......................

The point here is that the Friar has received the NS cure + a back style snare and some other much needed things - which by the way i think is wonderful and i think it was needed. Just saying other off-healers could make use of the cure too and it wouldn't tilt the game upside down.
