Challenge Mode [pve]

Challenge mode may be used for PvE groups that allow for better item drops and and experience (XP). Keep in mind that when activated, the mobs will hit faster, hit harder, have a higher critical hit chance as well as a greater chance to resist any crowd-control spells.

To use challenge mode, simply toggle it by typing /challenge. To deactivate it, do /challenge once more.

How do you explain "better item drops" and please confirm that it does not impact named mobs. (LB loop bosses)

I assume mobs are treated as higher level therefore item utility cap is increased

No - Mobs will be treated the same Level
No - Not the Item utility is increased (or more exactly the imbue points which are directly related to the NPCs level [unless its Armor/Weapon those are capped]), but the drop rate is.
The Challenge mode drop rate increase scales up by the group size.
AFAIK: it's a flat increase to raise the drop rates of the corresponding NPCs loot table. Higher chance to get a drop in general and higher chance to get a rare drop (if possible/available)

What sort of xp bonus are we talking here?
