Collection Tasks:
Collection Tasks (or XP Items) are an ongoing series of assignments that reward experience or XP. Unlike quests where you must speak with an NPC in advance, these tasks are always available and only require players to locate and kill particular mobs and to obtain specific drops known as "XP Items". XP Items can be distinguished from other item drops in that they use capitalized letters and when delved (right-click, Info), they will indicate the NPC where it may be returned for an XP reward.
Important to note is that XP Items stack in quantities of 10 and drop at an average of once every two minutes while killing the appropriate mobs. There is no restriction to the number of XP items you may obtain and return for reward.
