There was a recent update to our anti cheat capabilities which, like all anti cheat tools with that feature, exhibit similarities to certain trojaners: a remote server can command the client to do certain things, the collection of certain data in case of suspicion in this case.
Some new radar bans will be happening later this week because of this.

Below is a guide to remedy the problem that this is causing, for numerous people and is specific to Windows 10 users using the windows default antivirus software.
The general principles of exclusion and restoring the Phoenix.exe should hold true for other antivirus software.

For Win10/Windows AV
1) Open start menu(windows icon bottom left of screen) and click on the cog(settings)
2) In the window that opens(Windows Settings) click on updates & security
3) You should now be in Windows Update, on the left side click Windows security
4) The screen will switch to Windows Security, click on Open Windows Security
5) A new window will open , security at a glance. Click on Virus and Protection
6) You will now be in Virus&Threat protection, click on Manage settings(under virus & threat protection settings)
7) Scroll down until you find Exclusions, click on Add or Remove Exclusions
8) Click on +Add an exclusion and select Folder from the drop down menu that appears.
9) In the File Explorer window browse to your DAoC install, (default is C:\Program Files(x86)\ Electronic Arts\
10) Select the Dark Age of Camelot folder then press Select Folder
11) Click Yes on the Windows Security Prompt
12) Close all the options windows that you have opened.
13) Your DAoC directory will no longer be scanned by the anti virus software, it will also load quicker on startup and zoning.

Reinstall/Replace the Phoenix.exe
You can either rename the Phoenix.exe.backup file in your daoc directory to Phoenix.exe and run it, or you can redownload the Phoenix files from the website and extract them and copy them to your daoc directory. You can also restore the file from quarantine.
1 go to Virus & threat protection again
2 click Protection History below the quick scan button
3 expand out the threat blocked notice, use the drop down to Allow
4 expand out the threat quarantined notice, use the drop down to Restore
