Hello,

Anyone play on Phoenix on Catalina?
Currently I did try to use PlayOnMac and CrossOver both didn’t work - for sure I could use a VM or Bootcamp but would love to use it the other way :-) anyone?

Virtual machines are no longer allowed, if they detect it you get shut down.

I'm currently playing again with freebsd using the most current i386-wine-dev package and winetricks. No 3rd party wrappers around wine like play-on.
I didn't do anything special except install whatever windows internals were needed to run path of exile. Just fired daoc up and after 15+ years it was working fine.

I need to look into some other performance tweaks as it lags a bit like in the old days when an update forced everyone to buy new hardware, but it's actually been more stable than windows on the same hardware.

Hope that gets you pointed in the right direction, but team phoenix is going to have to revisit their emulation and vbox policies soon as the world is moving away from intel and windows at an increasing pace.
