Starting on Mid side

Okay guys, so i've heard great things about midgard so my brother and I have decided to switch. Can anyone recommend some fun duo classes?
I've heard that Skald/Shaman are good, But any advice in this area would be super helpful! Thanks

Any melee + shaman.
Any caster + healer.

BD + Skald all the way. Pet tanks with a healer and you just shred mobs non stop. Smoothest leveling experience ever.
