An Actual Alchemy Guide (Cheapest Possible)

Since Phoenix has been out awhile I figured I would share. I think it’s less than 5p total, but if someone wants to test it please report back. Essentially you just make the cheapest option at every step until it turns grey.

Alchemy Guide:
1-554: Poisons
554-640: Healing Potions
640-730:Magical Poisons
730-781: Dyes
781-800: Charges
800-840: Dyes
840-905: Unique Dyes
905-951: Charges for vendor or Effects (weapon dd to resell)
951-1050: Magical Poisons
1050-1062: Weapon Lusters

It took me about 2 hrs and 201g to get to 500 Alchemy.
I sold everything back to the NPC except for 25 Weak Elixir of Healing, which I put on my merchant for 4g each, lower than the 5g on other merchants, but a nice profit over the 1.8g cost to make.

UPDATE: it cost me an additional 300g to go from 500 to 600 Alchemy ---> 501g total
UPDATE: it cost me an additional 321g to go from 600 to 700 Alchemy ---> 821g total (seems like it should have been more, but I'm writing it all down)

Stopped at 700 because (1) not rolling in plat yet, and (2) at 700 I can make all potions I need to level to 50. Whether I level further later is primarily dependent on the market at that time. On Alb, it was cheaper to buy combos and procs/effects off the market or have a guildie make them, almost everything was sold at just a tad over cost. Not sure yet how the market in Mid compares....

I went by this guide which was solid until I got to stuff that couldn't be made on Phoenix;

1-350ish do red/orange poisons and dyes when no poisons available. Craft til yellow or blue here, doesn't matter much.
350-410ish weak elixir of healing
410ish-520ish poisons again, whichever are red/oj up to lifebane, make lifebane until grey
520-555ish stable spirit alloy tincture
555ish-605ish improved elixir of power
605-665ish stable fire fine alloy tincture
665-700 volatile cold fine alloy weapon tincture
700-780 crafted weapon luster remover, take this all the way to grey
780-800 stable shard adamantium tincture
800-845ish regular dyes
845-901? unique dyes
901?-1000 draught of strength (NOT greater)
1000-1025ish dark violet weapon luster
1025+ draught of might (NOT greater)


It worked out really well for me on two realms except for what I noted above. I'm including this guide for comparison and to see what your thoughts are.

not working at 905 because of there´s no draught´s with any color, draught of strengh has level 452, you have to swap to an effect or charge

Yup I ran into that hole, so I had to make something expensive at that point until I hit the next item mentioned in the guide. This is why I said, "I went by this guide which was solid until I got to stuff that couldn't be made on Phoenix".
