Relic Balance - Corrupted Power

It seems one side ends up with all the relics and it is a month before anyone can get lucky enough to get one and/or the other side gets bored farming people who have zero chance of defending themselves. Sadly, people quit or join the other faction and make it worse rather than fighting it out.

What I'm thinking is a plague for the realm controlling all the relics. If you control all 6 relics, level 45-50 players in the realm are hit with a debuff/buff. You get a few days of unlimited power with the current effect to do as you please to farm, take keeps, etc, but then the power consumes the realm and you start to weaken. At the same time you weaken your RP/BP/Coin increases as well. This makes it worth the effort of taking all of them but you have to decide if the cost is worth holding them indefinitely.

Corrupting Plague
Debuff on level 45-50 (or similar)

X hour timer per person (account based - No char swapping to avoid the penalty) started from the time you enter the RvR realm or attack an enemy player. (makes it fair for people who have been logged out). Stacks every 3 hours up to a cap (Applied if online or offline after debuffed) So, if you held all the relics for 120 hours for example you would have 40 stacks and have the full debuff listed below. Or should there be a cap? I dunno. Hold them forever till your stats go to 0 and you can't defend.

Effect - Min at hour 0 - Max and hour X
Negatives
Stat cap reduction 1 - 30%
Healing healed and received reduced by 1 - 30%
Critical chance reduced 1 - 25%
Damage reduction 1 - 25%
Tiny percent chance (0.05%) to proc a random 10 minute corrupted debuff (resistible) on your group members to lessen resistances by 10 - 20%
Positives
RP/BP/craft increased by an additional 1 - 30% on top of the already existing bonus. So you would cap out at 60% bonus. (A bonus to defend even though you are corrupted)

After the relics are taken back by other realms, the debuff is rapidly reduced per hour over X hours (24 hours?) and taking all the relics again while still debuffed will start you at whatever level debuff you were at. That would prevent intentional losing of the relic to get rid of the debuff and then immediately retaking it for the bonus.

It's a give and take with the benefit of taking relics is considerable due to the RP/BP/Craft but it becomes harder and harder to defend over time.

So this debuff would also apply to people who have no desire to PvDoor? Lol, no thanks.

Leave it alone or do away with relics all together.
