Possible all of this spells not work in line Painworking.
Spell is possible to cast but never hit target.
Should be:
"Inflicts damage to the target repeatedly over a given time period. This is an Pet "Area of Effect" (AOE) spell which can affect multiple targets in the spell's radius around the necroshade's pet.
This spell is cast through the caster's pet.
Time to execute command: Instant
Power cost: 28
The pet will then cast the following spell:
Damage per tick: 79
(This figure is modified by your specialization in the skill and your primary casting stat.)
Target: Enemy Target
Radius: 350
Damage type: Spirit
Duration: 20 seconds
Casting time: 3.0 seconds"

I hopped on my pain necro to test this out and I was able to use this on the gobs in Lyonesse just fine. What were you trying this on to where it didn't work?

I was trying to use it at guardsman in lyonesse, gloc: 336565,680178,2892
My necro pet seems to cast the animation+sounds but it never relase the spell on these targets
